Our Lord, a Poem by Emily Nelson

The following is a poem written by my 10 year old cousin, Emily Nelson of Wisconsin, USA. I was so proud of her insight into the Lord, especially given her young age, that I felt the need to share it with all of you. Our Lord by Emily Nelson

He is not just someone

He helped us when we needed it

He was the one who sent His Son down to earth

He is the Father of all fathers

He always forgives us

He will be there until the end of time

He has the power and will

He will come again to judge the living and the dead

He will answer our cries for help

He will never back down

He is everyone's hero

He has a kingdom waiting for us

He will continue to make the earth a better place

He is GOD
